corner club is the Chinese-American indie duo of Sav & Mike, whose intimate, acoustic-driven storytelling draws from a shared palette of pop, folk, jazz, and classical influences. The two first met through an acapella group at Princeton and serendipitiously found themselves living 10 minutes apart in New York City after graduation. What began as post-work jam sessions gradually turned into self-produced songs that found a global audience from their bedrooms.
Since forming corner club in 2018, they have been featured on emerging Spotify editorial playlists such as Fresh Finds and aesthetic. They even landed on Spotify's Thailand Viral 50 with their 2019 single, "Manhattanhenge."
In 2023, their EP in the rearview mirror earned acclaim from KQED, Atwood Magazine, Earmilk, and East Bay Express, and landed them the cover of Nyota Magazine. Their 2024 EP, no refunds, explored the endless ups and downs of self-actualization and acceptance and was featured by Apple Music on New in Alternative.
Having lived on both coasts, the duo has headlined NYC's Bowery Electric and Mercury Lounge, as well as San Francisco's Cafe du Nord and Brick & Mortar Music Hall. They have also worked with brands like Arc'teryx (Delight in the Detour campaign) and Visa (Infinite Experiences series) to offer special performances.
Back in New York City since 2025, the duo is currently working on their debut album.
